Delete Your GONA Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your GONA account.
GONA is operated by GONA TECHNOLOGIES, a proprietorship based in Andhra Pradesh, India.
GONA currently processes account deletion through a support request. There is no verified in-app one-tap deletion control published as a self-serve website action, so this page does not offer a fake “Delete Now” button.
Opens your email app with a prefilled request to wearegonasuperapp@gmail.com. Target processing: within 30 days after a valid verified request. Do not send passwords, OTPs, or payment credentials.
1. How to request deletion
Email wearegonasuperapp@gmail.com from the email address associated with your GONA account.
Use the subject line: GONA Account Deletion Request
- The email address registered with GONA
- A clear statement that you want your GONA account deleted
- Your full name as shown on the account (helpful for verification)
Do not send passwords, OTP codes, payment PINs, Aadhaar, PAN, or full card details.
2. Verification
We may ask for limited additional information to verify that you own the account before processing deletion. This helps protect users from unauthorized deletion requests.
3. Processing timeline
Target processing: within 30 days after a valid request and any reasonably necessary identity or security verification.
4. What is deleted or anonymized
When an account deletion request is processed, GONA will work to remove or deactivate account access and associated personal profile data that is no longer needed to provide the service.
Categories that may be deleted or anonymized as appropriate can include account credentials/access, profile details no longer required, and personal identifiers that are not subject to legitimate retention needs.
5. What may be retained
Certain records may need to be retained where reasonably necessary or legally required for tax/accounting, payment records, fraud/security, dispute resolution, or regulatory/legal obligations.
GONA does not claim immediate destruction of every database record in all cases.
6. After you request
After we receive a valid request, our support team will confirm next steps by email.
Once deletion is completed, you may lose access to your GONA account and in-app history tied to that account.
